On Monday, Dax Shepherd’s podcast, featured a special guest appearance by the Jonas Brothers – Nick, Joe, and Kevin.
During the podcast episode, the brothers delved into their spiritual upbringing and the journey of forming their band. They also took a moment to reminisce about instances of jealousy that would occasionally arise among them.

Sharing his personal experience with jealousy, Joe recalled a moment during a Fleetwood Mac concert at MSG when he found out that Nick had secured a coaching gig on the NBC series, The Voice. As the iconic song “Landslide” was playing, Joe confessed that he was so jealous that it brought him to tears.
“It was bittersweet. I’m super happy for him, but I’m also bummed because I wanted that f**king gig!” Joe expressed, reflecting on his mixed emotions at the time.
While Joe had already served as a coach on The Voice Australia in 2018, Nick landed the coaching opportunity for The Voice in 2020 and 2022.
In addition, Kevin opened up about his own moments of envy, admitting that he felt jealous when Nick and Joe were releasing solo albums.
Despite these occasional bouts of jealousy, the brothers always manage to find a way to support and be genuinely happy for each other. As Kevin emphasized, “We always say we want someone with the last name Jonas to win.”
The podcast episode provided a candid glimpse into the complexities of their brotherly dynamics, highlighting their ability to navigate and overcome these feelings of jealousy while maintaining a strong bond.
